ABOUT PALS

Founder Ralph Cufone is a local legend of the liquor industry having opened his first shop in 1964.

Over the years the store expanded and moved a few times before Ralph & his wife Julie opened Parafield Airport Liquor Store in 1986 in a hangar on the Airport property.

Soon the children were also working as the store flourished over the next 10 years. Eventually the store couldn't fit enough stock so they decided to build a new purpose built store as well as Roulettes Tavern in 1997 just down the road.

The new store boasted 1,000m2 with a 36 door walk in cool room and drive in facilities. Six months later they added another 100m2 for a dedicated premium wine section which includes a professional tasting bar.

The store layout allows for easy shopping with the more popular wines displayed in rows of baskets for quick selection. Don't worry there's plenty of shopping trollies to go around!
